Enjoy free concerts in the Cape Ann Museum Courtyard every Thursday in July and August from 5:30-7:00 pm. These weekly concerts are presented as part of the city-wide Culture Splash, an event series where Gloucester’s two cultural districts, Rocky Neck Cultural District and Harbortown Cultural District, join forces to celebrate and promote the local vibrant cultural organizations, creative groups and individuals, galleries, artists and non-profits.

CAM’s Courtyard Concerts feature local and regional musicians whose music ranges from Latin tunes to pop reinventions, acoustic folk to rock music, and chamber music to bluegrass. The Museum will be open with free admission during the concerts, although there will be no admission to Edward Hopper & Cape Ann. The concerts will be cancelled if there is rain. Limited outdoor seating will be provided by the Museum, come early to reserve your seat or bring your own lawn chair to ensure a spot!

About the Musician

A New England coastal kid, his music plays true to his roots. Zane got his start when he was 19 in Nantucket, MA, while working a summer job as a busboy. By night, he would play for friends at bonfires on the beach. That summer led him to pursue music instead of college. Since then, Zane has put out four singles, with the highlight being “Road Song,” a summer ode to New England garnering over 4 million listens. In his spare time, Zane enjoys playing ice hockey, engaging in spiritual practices, spending time at the beach, surfing, and being with nature.

Zane, along with Hayley Reardon who is performing on August 3, was the first-place winner at the Gloucester 400+ Anniversary’s Singer-Songwriter series at Machaca, which took place in February and March 2023. The Cape Ann Museum is pleased to host him as part of the ongoing events around the 400+ Anniversary.
