Cemetery Tour Series: Tragedy During the Victorian Era

“Tragedy During the Victorian Era” presented by Kathy & Richard Clark where you will hear about the tragedies that struck adults as well as children during Gloucester’s Victorian period. Richard will also discuss the military history of those interred, focusing on the War of 1812 and the Civil War. You may even be lucky to catch a glimpse of the Widow of Clark’s Cemetery. Clark’s Cemetery is not wheelchair accessible, and the ground is uneven.
Parking is on the grass field of the Oval Playground located at 92 Centennial Avenue, Gloucester, MA 01930. As you approach the playground, please drive slowly through the family neighborhood of Harvard Street and Morton Place.
