Gloucester 400+ Fisheries Heritage Festival

August 13, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

A two-day festival honoring 400 years of Gloucester’s fishing industry on the Everett Jodrey State Fish Pier. The festival will include food from the fisherman’s wives association, waterways demos, knot tying workshops, baiting demos, and more.

Day of FESTIVAL Parking and Transportation

STATE FISH PIER – NO PARKING

There will be no parking for festival-goers at the State Fish Pier on Saturday or Sunday. If you are dropping guests with limited mobility, there will be a turnaround area with individuals equipped to direct you to public parking.

 

GORTON’S: SATELLITE LOT

Gorton’s Seafood has generously donated their main lot between Rogers St and Main Street for festival guests this weekend. To locate the lot on Google Maps, click HERE. Entrances will be marked by event parking signs and staff.

 

CATA PUBLIC BUS: TRANSPORT FROM DOWNTOWN TO THE FESTIVAL

CATA’s Thatcher Road Route runs from downtown Gloucester to East Gloucester, with Gorton’s lot and the Festival location both en route. For Google Maps locations of these areas, please click the links below:
