As we approach our 400th anniversary as a community, Gloucester400TM has launched the 400Stories Project, a citywide undertaking whose goal is to collect, preserve, and share 400 stories ofGloucester and its people between now and 2023. 400 Stories was created to honor everyone who has made Gloucester our home and celebrate our 400-year heritage.


We hope you’ll find the information you need to participate in this undertaking in this section of our website, but if you don’t please let us know by emailing us at info@gloucesterma400.org. We promise we will get back to you as soon as we can.





Stories may ONLY be submitted stories via this website.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept non-digital, paper submissions, but you can scan or photograph your written story idea and upload it here. Artwork or photos should be original artwork in high-resolution, meaning

(300 dpi) .jpeg, .png, or .tiff format. Video files mov, and mp4. Audio files mp3


File size should be no larger than 10 MB.
