Friday, August 30th -  Monday September 2nd - 35th Annual Schooner Festival. 

Saturday November 2nd - Autumn 2019 Public Meeting and Homage to Plymouth’s 400 Event. Additional details to come.

Thursday, February 27th -  Rockport’s 180th Anniversary.

 

2021

Saturday, November 27th - “400 Days to the 400th”

Kick-off event at City Hall, Thanksgiving weekend 2021.

 

2022

Friday, May 6th - Community Banquet – Gloucester Cruiseport

Community gala hosted by 400th Committee.

 

Dec. 31st - Jan. 1st, 2022/23 - “2023 Launch Event”

New Year countdown. Events will take place throughout the city (visual arts, performances, food) culminating in fireworks at midnight.

 

2023

Spring/Summer 2023 - Neighborhood Festivals

Celebration of each of Gloucester’s unique and distinct neighborhoods. Highlighting ethnic enclaves, industrial heritage, agricultural heritage, and historic properties.

 

Wednesday, June 28th, 2023 - 96th Annual St. Peter’s Fiesta

    

Monday, July 3rd, 2023 - “2023 Fishtown Horribles Parade”

    

Summer 2023 - Sail Boston Fleet Visit

The fleet visit will feature some of the ships participating in Sail Boston coming to Gloucester Harbor for our own “mini-Tall Ships” event. The Sail Boston Fleet visit will include Parade of Sail, ship tours, and maritime demonstrations.

 

August 8th, 2023 - Reenactment of the “Falcon Incident”
