Laura M. Alberghini Ventimiglia
A resident of Gloucester for 50 years, Laura’s experience is rich in gathering peoples’ stories. For more than 35 years she has worked in a variety of settings and in 2 countries interviewing people, organizing and writing their stories, and helping other people do the same. Most recently she consulted with L’Archivio Storico in Cento, Italy as they developed their online museum, Nulla Osta per il Mondo, and continues to work with them seeking immigrant stories. A retired college educator and administrator, Laura has authored educational articles, chapters, family history articles and books. Her love for Gloucester stems from its uniqueness and its people whose stories bring its history to life.
