Cemetery Tour Series: A Travel Through Time

A Travel Through Time” presented by Sandy Barry where you will meet locals such as Gloucester’s first midwife, veteran Col. Joseph Foster, and Mrs. Sarah Burnham. There will be stories of shipwrecks, tombs, and memento mori headstones. This 1644 cemetery is not wheelchair accessible, and the ground is uneven with sloping elevation.
Parking is on the grass field of the Oval Playground located at 92 Centennial Avenue, Gloucester, MA 01930. As you approach the playground, please drive slowly through the family neighborhood of Harvard Street and Morton Place.
